Welcome to today's international friendly at Perú in the beautiful city of Lima. This match between Perú U18 and Deutschland U18, may only be a friendly, but there is enough history between these 2 sides that we should still be in for a good game.

The referee in charge of tonight's game is Milan Jazbinšek, who was born in Hrvatska and belongs to the college of Rijeka. He is a referee in the style of Pierluigi Collina, who does not tolerate foul play, and will not allow player's disputing his decisions or throwing their toys out of the pram!

Min.2, Freddy de Andrade sends a poor cross in from the right towards the area, allowing the ball to be cleared by Thomas Zickler, who swiftly goes on the counter attack. The fans are loving it! Min.3, Leonardo Olivares has to the corner to challenge Hendrik Dabrowski for the ball but erm, he failed. Fortunately for him, Siro de las Casas of Perú U18 has got across to cover him and plays it safe and gives away the corner. Min.4, what an incredible piece of skill by Benigno Gonzáles, he cut in from the left and ghosted past one defender before playing a square ball across to Junior Fajardo, who aimed to score, but didnt. You can hear a pin drop in this stadium after the away team opened the score board. Have the home fans had cold water poured over their heads? Even the hooligans are quiet now, amazing! Min.23, Segundo Ramírez of Perú U18 shoots but hits the bar. He's got a crack at the rebound all alone in front of Gavin Senderos... how did he miss that?! Unbelievable. Min.27, Gooooool !!!, Siro de las Casas made a Titus Bramble-esque error there, allowing Philipp Solz to take the ball off him just outside the box, he then buried the ball past Leonardo Olivares, who lets the defender know exactly what he thinks of him. The score is now 0-2. Spectators couldn't believe what they were seeing; even in their worst nightmares they couldn't imagine this overwhelming score. A lot of them were quiet but others began to encourage his team. Worse things have been seen. Min.33, Noel Valdivieso got the ball with a bit of luck and he tried to make wall pass with Freddy de Andrade. But Bernd Kaltz cleverly hacks him down to stop the move. Freddy de Andrade isn't happy and is complaining to the referee, asking for a yellow card. Yellow card for Bernd Kaltz, he knew what he was doing there and it worked. He doesn't mind taking one for the team. Min.34, Perú U18 came very close to scoring. It was a dipping freekickby Noel Valdivieso but it didnt quite do enough and hit the bar after beating Gavin Senderos and his despairing dive. Min.39, Goooaaaaaaal !!!, Gilberto Javier Jiménez did some good driblings from the center of the field going very close oponent goalkeeper but when everything seemed that the player was going to kick did a very good pass to Freddy de Andrade, who only has to drive the ball into goal, who did the pass told with his mind 'Score you, because for me would be easier'. The scores now stand at 1-2. Min.44, Bernd Fahrenhorst drove the ball without problems in the midfield but upon arriving at his intended destination, his brakes failed and he suffered a nasty crash with the pain train, otherwise known as, Iker Gastulo and the referee gave the foul. Min.45, 'an almost goal by Deutschland U18. Foul shot of Pierre Gerber that was sent near the left post of Leonardo Olivares.' Gracias Manuel, now go get me a brew.

Min.46, Gooooool !!! of Perú U18, inside pass by Raúl Acasiete into the path of Segundo Ramírez, who strikes it as sweetly beyond the outstretched arms of Gavin Senderos. Now the scoreboard is 2-2. The supporters went totally crazy after the equalizer. A lot of supporters have revived their hopes but they aren't thinking about a victory yet. This affects the players. Min.52, great run down the left wing by Hendrik Dabrowski who spots Siro de las Casas in acres of space and tries to pick him out, but that was just naff. Thanks for that Manuel. Min.85, disastrous pass by Bernd Fahrenhorst who tries to pick out Klaus Seeler, but the receiver could do nothing to control the ball. They will not create too many chances with that sort of slap dashery. Min.88, That shot by Perú U18 was so close! The move started on the left hand side, Benigno Gonzáles didn't have any support, so decided to take the defence on himself, he managed to weave his way to the edge of the area and instantly unleashed a powerful shot that rattled the bar. Benigno Gonzáles has his hands on his head, that was a tremendous effort.

Min.90, The whistle has been blown, ending the game at 2-2. The home team had 57 %. possession of the ball.
