Hello and welcome to today's big international match between Chile U21 and España U21. There is a real party atmosphere in Chile and no where more so than here in Metropolitana de Santiago, where football fever has taken over. There is an obvious police presence here today, but officials are not expecting any trouble. Now let's get over to the stadium for the kick off...

Clodoaldo Pederneiras will be the referee of today's match, he is born in Portugal and a member of the Bragança association. To be honest, this guy is a bot of a soft touch, and some players will be looking to get away with a bit of funny business tonight. Let's hope no one gets hurt, unlike the last time he whistled a match.

Min.3, Zacarias Alzamora sees space on the byline and he runs into it and crosses towards the head of Jörg Nitsch. However, Felipe Juan Valero decided he fancied doing his job and cleared it with an assured header. Jörg Nitsch, is holding his side on the ground and complaining bitterly about Felipe Juan Valero's elbow to his ribs at the same time, what a talent he has there...get up you nancy. Min.9, what an incredible piece of skill by Arturo Vergara, he cut in from the left and ghosted past one defender before playing a square ball across to Paulino Maldonado, who aimed to score, but didnt. Min.12, Jörg Nitsch left the defense behind. The moment Florián Margas ran straight towards the keeper he should have known that a pass-like ball would be sufficient to hit the net yet he attempts a shot and the as expected the ball flew high and wide right into the stands. Yeray Rotaetamorga was blatantly laughing after that horrible attempt quite honestly we can only agree. Min.20, Celestino Fuentes tries to play a 1-2 with Jörg Nitsch, but Felipe Juan Valero's pressure pays off as he steals the ball and sets his team off on a counter attack... Min.21, the counterattack was led by Pablo Villaquiran. He tries to lob the keeper who has left his area however the ball goes just wide of the post. Min.25, Arturo Vergara crosses for Florián Margas, his marker Borja Zabaleta trips over and after some grappling, both players end up in a mess on the floor, they want a penalty but they're not getting it. Min.34, Aniceto Millape sent a long ball towards Jörg Nitsch however Yeray Rotaetamorga decides to come from his area and calmly hoof it back up the field. Min.37, Chile U21 had two clear cut chances in attack but Yeray Rotaetamorga kept them both out. Florián Margas then had a third chance at scoring, but a last ditch challenge made sure that he didnt. I dont know why, but Florián Margas is complaining that he didnt get a penalty for that. Min.42, Rosendo Ventosa spots Pablo Villaquiran breaking free from his marker, but his attempted pass into the space in front is easily intercepted by the defence.

Min.45, half time here, with the score at 0-0, as they say, it's not over til the fat lady sings, so lets see what the second half brings us. The home team had 91 %. possession of the ball.

Watching España U21 come out of the tunnel, you have to wonder if they have anything left to give. Chile U21 on the other hand are looking full of confidence as they come running out onto the pitch. Min 46, home team are attacking via the by the center and protecting their goal via the by the center. The away team is focusing its attacks on the by the right side and its defense without special attention in any area. Min.46, Aniceto Millape sends a lovely pass to the feet of Jörg Nitsch who races through the defence going 1-on-1 with the keeper.... beautiful goal! The referee's disallowed it; the linesman's flag was up. I don't think he got that one right, and the players agree. Jörg Nitsch has lost his temper and wants to go have words with the assistant. He's having to be restrained by his team mates. You can understand his frustration. The ref is taking no bull today and Jörg Nitsch is booked for complaining. Min.62, Florián Margas of Chile U21 shoots but hits the bar. He's got a crack at the rebound all alone in front of Yeray Rotaetamorga... how did he miss that?! Unbelievable. Min.66, Celestino Fuentes spots Jörg Nitsch breaking free from his marker, but his attempted pass into the space in front is easily intercepted by the defence. Min.74, Gooooool !!!, Jonás Roncesvalles ran on to that through ball and took it towards the goal. He easily outpaced Harun Brandstätter before taking it around the goalkeeper Cesáreo Santander and putting it into the empty net to make it 0-1. You can hear a pin drop in this stadium after the away team opened the score board. Have the home fans had cold water poured over their heads? Even the hooligans are quiet now, amazing! Min.78, Celestino Fuentes sent a long ball towards Florián Margas however Yeray Rotaetamorga decides to come from his area and calmly hoof it back up the field. Min.81, high kick of Chile U21 after a wonderful forward pass through the defense by Paulino Maldonado to Florián Margas couldn't finish off that great move by Chile U21. Florián Margas protested about the shirt pulling he was the victim of. Min.85, Jörg Nitsch has got some magic feet and shows us all his trickery to get into a great position in the box, unfortunately for him, he's a complete donkey and tripped over his twinkle toes and face planted the ball, which proceeds to roll out harmlessly for a goal kick. Min.89, Arturo Vergara has headed over from 4 yards out, after a pin point cross from Zacarias Alzamora. Wasted opportunity.

Min.90, and that's the end of the game here, the teams make their way off the field to the applause of the crowds. The game finished 0-1. The home team had 95 %. possession of the ball.
