Enjoy this exciting match.

There is an incredible buzz here in the town of Oost-Vlaanderen in België, you can feel the carnival atmosphere that comes with the knock out stages of the cup. The two teams, Portugal U21 and Suomi U21 have lined up in the centre, and in a moment we will have the national anthems. This is what it's all about, this is what we have been waiting for... it's all about to begin!

Silvio Cassano, one of the legends in the world of international refs, takes control of today's match. Hopefully the Italia born P.E. teacher, who belongs to the Campania association, will be able to compensate for the linesmen, who have been described in the local press as "complete muppets".

Min.5, Mauno Kangaskorpi sent a long ball towards Jarkko Tihinen however Dário Aranha decides to come from his area and calmly hoof it back up the field. Min.11, Mauno Kangaskorpi sends a lovely pass to the feet of Jarkko Tihinen who races through the defence going 1-on-1 with the keeper.... beautiful goal! The referee's disallowed it; the linesman's flag was up. I don't think he got that one right, and the players agree. Jarkko Tihinen has lost his temper and wants to go have words with the assistant. He's having to be restrained by his team mates. You can understand his frustration. Min.14, great run down the left wing by Ilpo Haaskivi who spots Atílio Teles in acres of space and tries to pick him out, but that was just naff. Min.16, Arto Rosenberg tries to play a 1-2 with Jarkko Tihinen, but Anacleto Rufino's pressure pays off as he steals the ball and sets his team off on a counter attack... Min.17, the clearance by the defence was intercepted by Armindo Rolim who tried to go past Rasmus Kiljunen but he failed miserably and loses possession. Min.22, high kick of Suomi U21 after a wonderful forward pass through the defense by Mauno Kangaskorpi to Dan-Ola Ikävalko couldn't finish off that great move by Suomi U21. Dan-Ola Ikävalko protested about the shirt pulling he was the victim of. Min.25, Arto Rosenberg spots Jarkko Tihinen breaking free from his marker, but his attempted pass into the space in front is easily intercepted by the defence. Min.34, Arto Rosenberg sent a deep cross towards Iiro Niemi but the keeper has come charging out and Dário Aranha quickly sends a long punt up the field starting a counterattack. Min.35, the counterattack was led by Armindo Rolim. He tries to lob the keeper who has left his area however the ball goes just wide of the post. Min.43, Goal !!!, The ball is played down the left touchline to Ricardo Figueiredo. There's nothing open on the left so he dribbles towards the centre. He's taking it to the edge of the area looking for the shot... he hits the ball full blast into the back of the net! SUPERB GOAL. The score now stands at 1-0. Nearly the whole stadium shouted GOOOAAALLLL, all the supporters clapped and shouted the name of Ricardo Figueiredo who did something difficult: scoring the first goal.

Min.45,it's the end of the first half. The teams make their way to dressing rooms. The scoreboard of this 45 minutes is 1-0. The away team had 95 %. possession of the ball.

Min 46, from the journalist tower we can see that the home side are attacking via by the left touchline and focusing its defense by the center. The away team is trying to attack by the center and focusing its defense without special attention in any area. Min.46, Ilpo Haaskivi crosses for Jarkko Tihinen, his marker Énio Taborda trips over and after some grappling, both players end up in a mess on the floor, they want a penalty but they're not getting it. Min.49, Mauno Kangaskorpi sent a long ball towards Dan-Ola Ikävalko however Dário Aranha decides to come from his area and calmly hoof it back up the field. Min.70, Jarkko Tihinen has headed over from 4 yards out, after a pin point cross from Anssi Svanbäck. Wasted opportunity. Min.73, Iiro Niemi tries to play a 1-2 with Jarkko Tihinen, but Énio Taborda's pressure pays off as he steals the ball and sets his team off on a counter attack... Min.74, Vili Enckelman has to the corner to challenge Armindo Rolim for the ball but erm, he failed. Fortunately for him, Rasmus Kiljunen of Suomi U21 has got across to cover him and plays it safe and gives away the corner. Min.80 That was a wasted chance by Dan-Ola Ikävalko... 1-on-1 with Dário Aranha and 5 yards from goal, and he's put it right into the stands where the Portugal U21 fans are sitting... you can hear the donkey brays ringing from around the stadium! Min.81, huge play of Anssi Svanbäck from the right side which finishes with a 'death' back pass, but Anacleto Rufino very watchful cuts down the pass in the small area when it looked like it would be a shouted goal. Incredible play of Anssi Svanbäck, who did all well but his pass didn't find a striker. Min.89, Abel Serralheiro is desperate for movement from his colleagues, but none comes so he shot towards the goal from outside the area. Easily gathered by Vili Enckelman.

Min.90, and that's the end of the game here, the teams make their way off the field to the applause of the crowds. The game finished 1-0. The away team had 92 %. possession of the ball.
